11/28/2011  The road closure at the BMR well/treatment plant will occur Wednesday 11-30 and is expected to reopen by Saturday 12-3. For owners that are unaware of where the well or treatment plant is located, it is near the 4200 block of Bell Mountain  Drive. The purpose of this closure is to run the electrical and communication lines from the new well to the treatment plant. The Castle Rock Fire Department, Douglas County School District and the Post Office have been notified.

5/23/2011  The BMR Water District will be performing major flushing of the water distribution lines on Monday thru Wednesday of this week. The flushing will expel up to 1700 gallons of water per minute which is significantly more than what is expelled with our usual flushing. This increased flow is the direct result of our Engineer’s recommendations. The purpose is to clear the lines of as much sediment as possible.
The water pressure could be reduced in isolated sections of the Ranch for brief intervals and may also stir up sediment within the lines. If you see any increase in sediment at your home, please run your cold water and it should fairly quickly return to normal.

5/3/2011    On Saturday May 21, 2011 from 9-11 AM the BMR will hold an Open House at our water treatment plant. Our experts will be there to answer your questions. Coffee & donuts will be provided. Learn how our water is produced and get an up close look at one of the Ranch's most important assets.

12/9/2010   Our alternate water well is proceeding on schedule with a target date for completion of June 2011. The planned site is near the current well site, across from the water treatment plant.
Once all the engineering and permitting is complete, the drilling steps will begin. The set up process for the drilling platform and needed infrastructure will start soon, probably by December 13, 2010. This estimated commencement date may change due to a variety of variables that impact the process. At this time we do not have a firm date when the actual drilling will start. We will provide this information as soon as we have it.
To keep well drilling costs within our estimated budget requirements for the grant and to protect the integrity of the entire process, the drilling itself will continue non-stop from the start of drilling to the completion or 24/7. Accordingly the site will be illuminated, and there will be attendant noise and some traffic flow inconveniences. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences this may cause. However, this is the process we must employ in order to complete the plan for the alternate well.
The BMR Board wanted to give Owners the information we currently have. Future updates will follow as the process continues. This alternate well is an important addition to the Ranch. Your cooperation in making this happen is most appreciated.
