8/30/2011 ROAD STRIPING- Thursday, September 1 The newly chip sealed portions of roadway on the Ranch will be striped on Thursday, September 1. This includes the portion of Bell Mountain Drive between Mariposa Rd and Nightfire Circle and all of Serenade Rd. The work will commence at about 9 am and should be completed by 11 am. A double yellow centerline will be striped on the newly chip sealed roadways. The paint should be dry to the touch in about 45 minutes after application. While the paint is wet, residents should refrain from crossing the paint stripes, as this will track paint where it doesn’t belong and may coat vehicle wheel wells. Cones will be placed to denote wet paint and will be picked up after the paint has dried. Should you be following the paint striping truck while it is actively working, do not follow any closer than 300 ft behind to avoid any paint overspray from getting on your vehicle. Should you see the striping truck heading in your direction, pull over on the road shoulder as far as possible until after the truck passes. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
